Off With It's Head

I just got this photo commemorating 3 glorious days in July spent butchering chickens. Believe it, or not, both the Princess and the Pink Tank chopped off a few heads! This was a great way for us to put some meat in the freezer, and it doesn't get much better than natural, farm raised chickens, (unless our good friends in the country decide to raise a few head of beef)! We had a good time fellowshipping (which came first, the chicken or the egg?) and killing little farm animals.

In fact, we had such a good time slaughtering critters that we busted out the equalizers and let "whosoever will" throw a few rounds downrange! It just doesn't get more patriotic than that, does it? Killing your own food, then shooting semi-automatic rifles! We had .22s, .32s, .38s, 12g, 5.56, and airguns... and everyone blasted 'em from ages 4 to 40. Ye-haw!
